The Wastewater Rats is a fun tactical board game with eye-catching miniatures, in which players take control of their own squad of underground inhabitants, which will search for the main treasure of the dungeon - food waste. The deep and intricate labyrinths of the dungeon are also teeming with life. The local inhabitants, who call themselves the Rat Riders, are only busy looking for food and fighting for it. The course of the game At the very beginning of the game, boats with the image of talismans, as well as treasure tokens, common and rare, especially valuable, are placed on the table. There is a deck of talismans nearby, 4 cards from it are open. Each player receives an individual starting set of mascot cards, as well as a personal squad of Piper. On his turn, the player plays one talisman card, placing his Pied Piper figure on one of the boats. You can also resort to trick and jump over with your character already sitting on the boat to a more advantageous place - closer to the bow of the boat. This can be done with complete impunity. If the ship's crew is already fully formed, a willing player can become its captain by donating one card. When the captain appears in the boat, she sets sail. Players arrive at a treasure collection site and the main battle for food begins. At this stage, you will understand how important it is to sit closer to the bow and that being the captain is beneficial. The closer to the stern, the less chances that the Rat will get something worthwhile, because everyone chooses their prey in turn. Each treasure received adds a certain number of points to the player's asset, and the winner in the end will be the one who received the most of them.
