Majolica workshop Formation workshop.
In 1992, a talented artist - Natalia Pavlova and Yevgeny Vyacheslavovich Shepelev, a competent manager, in the past, director of the art production fund - founded the company “Majolica”, later renamed “Workshop of majolica Pavlova and Shepelev”. From that moment on, the history of the unique school of Yaroslavl majolica began.
The first workshop, in which the ardent heart of the Yaroslavl majolica beat, was located on the very edge of the city of Yaroslavl, in a small cozy house. And at first, the matter progressed slowly and thoughtfully.
This company today can afford to attract loans. And then the first special oven was purchased for money borrowed from friends and acquaintances. Now there are almost a hundred people working in the workshop, and at the time of formation there were only five employees. Today, the workshop buys five to seven KrAZ clay every year, and before that one bucket was enough for a whole year.
The first loan “for development” company “Workshop of Yaroslavl majolica Pavlova and Shepeleva” received from foreign partners. Russian banks were less tractable.
The year 2002 was a turning point for “Majolica Pavlova and Shepelev Workshop”. At that time, the production premises were significantly expanded, the development of product marketing technologies became purposeful, and the framing workshop began its work. Since then the company
- not only participates in exhibitions, but also undertakes their registration;
- not only fulfills numerous corporate orders, but also actively promotes its unique collections in the Russian and foreign markets.

"Majolica workshop of Pavlova and Shepelev" (Yaroslavl majolica).
Majolica Workshop Pavlova and Shepeleva is an enterprise that specializes in the production of highly artistic ceramics in majolica technique, porcelain sculpture and tableware.
All products: from Christmas decorations to the fundamental wall bas-reliefs and panels - this is completely handmade, which gives them individual originality and uniqueness.
* Currently, the Workshop unites about a hundred workers and has its own majolica school.
* The products of the Majolica Pavlova and Shepelev Workshop are world-famous and sold as the Yaroslavl Majolica brand in Russia and abroad.
* The company is a laureate of many art and commercial exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Repeated winner of the exhibitions in the nominations “The Best Goods of the Russian Market”, “The Best Design of Gift and Souvenir Products”, “New in Business Souvenirs with Elements of Corporate Style” and many others.
At the international exhibition, which was held in February 2008 in New York, the Maiolica enterprise was noted by American experts as the only friend they know that works on such a complex technology.

Majolica Soul.
The soul of the majolica is Russian, open. But its depth is not known, secrets are not solved. The world of plastics "Majolica Workshop Pavlova and Shepeleva" is a living world, surprisingly beautiful and constantly evolving.
At the same time, the modeling style of the main artist Natalya Pavlova remains classic, and each character created has a character.
Her original plastic technique can be traced in all compositions of various subjects - from Christian motifs to genre scenes from the Russian provinces and village pictures.
Director of the Workshop Yevgeny Shepelev says: “The basis for the foundations for us, of course, is the Yaroslavl irrigation tile. In it, and technology, and aesthetics, and ornamental. And the color scheme is our amazing icons of the Yaroslavl school. ”
Also a feature of Natalia Pavlova is that each separately performed work can be both independent and easy to link up with other characters in a group.
The special softness of the sculptural forms, their lyricism, and sincerity make the figures of Yaroslavl majolica not just decorate the interior, but fill its atmosphere with warmth and light.
And this is the main advantage of our majolica - one of the most striking phenomena in the modern Russian art of small sculpture.
