In 2011, in the city of Nazran (Republic of Ingushetia, Russia), an enterprise was established for the processing of fish skins LLC "ShADI".

Processing fish waste is particularly relevant in connection with the appearance on the market of new equipment for cutting fish and the sustained public interest in fish fillets. A new species has appeared on the raw materials market - mechanically taken fish skins.

At the same time, the chemical leather industry is making a huge step in its development. And a large variety of chemical materials allows producing ecologically clean skin of high quality fish in a very wide range.

The moment has come when the fish skin can become an independent direction in the global light industry.

And today there is a technology - “Production of fish skin in industrial volumes”, which was developed by SHADI, which has more than 30 years of experience in the production of mammalian skin.

Fish skin has established itself as a high-quality skin, it:

* 3 times stronger than bull's skin,

* Has a thickness of 0.3 mm to 1.2 mm, depending on the type of fish.

* The longevity of the skin of fish is several times higher than that of mammals, due to its anatomical structure of fiber cells.

* In the arsenal of SHADI there are unique technologies for treating the skin of giant squid, sturgeon skins and getting enough soft skin, while maintaining its natural beauty.

Production of fish skin is a separate main focus in the leather industry, which, with the right investments and a qualified approach, will successfully develop and generate income. The main and most difficult thing has already been done on the basis of this company - the technology has been created.

This direction has many positive aspects:
