Our laboratory is equipped with the highest world-class equipment. Here, highly qualified specialists work on the creation of new products. At the moment in the laboratory, technology developers are working under the guidance of a research engineer.

GRASS Research Center is divided into three zones: office, training hall and research laboratory. Our consultants are world producers of raw materials, such as: BASF, CRODA, LG, CP Kelco, AkzoNobel, WACKER, Huntsman, Evonik, Bang & Bosomer, NORKEM, Caustic. Also within the framework of a corporate university, theoretical and practical chemistry classes for all employees of the company are held in the classroom.

Every year, GRASS technologies are trained not only in Russia, but also abroad, which allows the company to keep abreast of the world's leading developments in the field of detergents, ahead of competitors and create truly high-quality products.

                               Production lines

The shop produces products for contactless car washing, auto cosmetics, as well as tools for professional cleaning. The production capacity as of 2016 is more than 60 000 tons.

The area of ​​production halls is more than 3 000 m2. Each workshop is divided into two zones: the component loading area and the filling zone. In the loading zone, the mixers are filled with components according to a strictly defined program and their further mixing. Great importance is attached to the quality of water, which goes through several stages of purification: softening, de-ironing, purification from organic impurities. All processes are carried out with the help of special high-quality equipment, which allows the dosing of substances with high accuracy. After the completion of the loading and mixing processes, the created samples enter the production laboratory adjacent to the shop, where they are tested for compliance with the declared quality indicators. Only after a full and thorough inspection the product enters the bottling. The bottling zone is equipped with several modern lines, each of which has its own purpose and corresponding characteristics. Two lines produce products up to 1 liter. The productivity of each line is more than 1,200 bottles per hour. The filling line of canisters of 5 - 20 kg has the highest productivity - 10 000 liters per hour. For bottling aggressive chemical products, which include acids and sodium hypochlorite, is equipped with a special line of titanium. Such a filling line allows the production of up to 2,000 bottles per hour. There is also a small overpass designed for loading aggressive components, products based on solvents and abrasive substances.

In 2016, GRASS, one of the first in Russia, launched a line for the production of gel flavors.

                            Raw material warehouse and finished goods warehouse

There are several warehouses on the territory of the plant.

To store products in the company provides an extensive system of storage facilities. The manufacturing area is adjoined by a warehouse of finished products with an area of ​​1359 m2. In early 2017, a new modern warehouse with an area of ​​3000 m2 was launched. It organizes storage of products in a convenient and easily accessible system of metal shelving, which includes 4624 paleto-places and has up to six tiers in height and 28 rows in length. The goods in the warehouse are distributed according to the storage areas, depending on the weight and dimensions and fragility. In the right part of the warehouse storage and selection of goods with a capacity of 5 liters, 10 liters, as well as bottles of 500 ml, 250 ml and other light and fragile goods. The left part of the warehouse is fixed for heavy goods and heavy equipment. Between the rows are moving special forklift trucks, which easily and quickly get the goods from various levels. There are also machines for the rapid packaging of products in polyethylene film, which allows you to maintain the integrity of the packaging for long-distance transport.

The warehouse is serviced daily by 4 logisticians and 2 storekeepers, which ensure uninterrupted unloading and loading of goods, as well as 5 storekeepers.

To automate the work of the warehouse, a new accounting system has been launched - an expert in logistics, which involves the storage, selection and shipment of goods through special terminals. Each position arriving at the warehouse is accepted and placed in a certain accounting cell.

For convenience of shipment the warehouse is equipped with seven docks, 5 of which are designed for heavy trucks and 2 for cars. Docks can significantly reduce the time of unloading and loading goods, which directly from the warehouse gets directly into the machine. So, loading 32 pallets per truck takes only 30 minutes. Thus, GRASS managed to create conditions for storage and fast, uninterrupted, maximum convenient shipment of its products.

                               Office premises of the company

The success of any company depends on its human capital. The effectiveness of the team is directly related to how comfortable its employees feel in the workplace. Therefore, GRASS strives to create the most ergonomic conditions for the work and recreation of its employees.

In a new, spacious office building with an area of ​​3,000 m2, three structural units are located on three floors: the Human Resources Department, sales departments, marketing, kaizen, lawyers, supply and logistics department, accounting and company management. The modern light building is made in European style Open Space. The huge office area is divided by semi-transparent partitions. This creates a feeling of lightness, freedom and openness. And at the same time, each employee has his own workplace, provided with everything necessary for successful work. The stylish design in bright colors with small bright color spots underscores the company's desire for innovation, to the use of modern technologies and is a reflection of the young, brave spirit of GRASS.
