The figure immediately attracted the attention of the workshop workers, and already in 1890 a domestic doll appeared, which consisted of 8 brightly painted figures. And it got its name thanks to the name Matryona, which was widespread at that time. The painted doll reflected folk ideas about peace, goodness and beauty. Matryoshka combines such values as motherhood, family, unity and warmth.
