GamesDealer / Backgammon chạm khắc "Zodiac Virgo", Ustyan

A beautiful piece worth getting, even if you're not into board games. Backgammon carved Zodiac Virgo is a representative of a series dedicated to astral signs. Among them, you can choose the one to which you yourself or to whom you want to present a gift. Initially, this is a full-fledged backgammon board, which, in combination, can act as a room decoration if you provide a stand on the wall. It is not at all a shame to give it to a dear person, relative, friend or colleague, because the appearance can definitely surprise. Why is it interesting? The first thing to note is that it is completely handmade, which was performed by a world-renowned master, Grigory Ustyan. This alone speaks volumes. Secondly, the use of excellent materials. The body itself is made of beech, and a solid mass is taken. This will ensure that the board does not break, crack, or start splitting, even after hundreds of very violent games. The service life of this wood is practically unlimited, of course, only if you follow it, do not spill liquid, do not drop it, and so on. It is noteworthy that beech has such a woody texture that you do not want to hide with a layer of paint and various mixtures. On the contrary, the manufacturer emphasizes its texture with several layers of varnish. By the way, thanks to this coating, it was possible to slightly increase the protection against moisture. If any liquid gets in, just wipe it dry with a cloth. The hinges are made of soft bronze, molded in the shape of butterfly wings, and decorated with several rings extending from the middle part. The hook is also bronze, and is attached with round inserts resembling a honeycomb.
