Kechris

Kechris is a family-owned winery located in Thessaloniki and has been producing high-quality wines since 1911. Stelios Kechris (oenologist, winemaker and representative of the third generation of the family), together with his daughters (Eleni, Maria and Zoe) and qualified staff of the winery, are working on the production of innovative wines and further economic expansion of the company. The philosophy of Stelios Kechris Domaine is to pay particular attention to the typical characteristics of wines with protected geographical indications (PGI). For this reason, Stelios Kechris focuses on the production of retsin based on a fundamentally new concept of the wine process. The result of this process is a modern wine - a “leader in quality”, which manages to balance the presence of resin with the aromatic character of the wine. The Stelios Kechris Domaine product catalog includes 10 labels. White wines are made from local varieties Assyrtiko, Roditis and Muscat of Alexandria, as well as from the international Sauvignon Blanc variety. Red wines are made from Xinomavro, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
