Julio Okubo, a story that began with pearl

The Saga of the family that has become synonymous with the brand of jewelry and pearls in Brazil, is closely related to its Eastern origin.

Japanese immigrants, Okubo family arrived in Brazil in the mid-1920s. During this period Rosa Okubo, the mother of Julius, brought the first jewel in Brazil!

Rose opened his own jewelry store and his work and determination was known as the "Queen of pearls".

If the mother has the knack for trading, Julio, the only son of d. Rose, was born with the vocation to convert the metal and precious stones in the jewelry. beyond the accuracy of the character, another characteristic of the Japanese people is a craft that lives up to your artistic flair. For the Japanese, all art is a way to balance and inner peace. For Julio art comes from commitment to excellence, hard work that shows the beauty and brilliance of precious stones.

As a teenager Julius began working with the aim to open a workshop for jewelry. Their goal was to create their own and exclusive products, mainly pearls from Japan.
