“Ilos. The Lost Archipelago ”is an exciting adventure board game for adults and children. It is perfect as a replenishment of a family toy library or for fun gatherings with friends. The essence of the game is to explore and master the found uninhabited island of Ilos, and the goal for each individual player is to become the richest of the explorers, ahead of rivals. Game Progress At the start of the game, each player receives 5 game action cards, ships and colonists. At the preliminary stage of exploring the island, each player chooses a hex and places it in the center of the playing space. As a result, the hexes should be logically connected to each other, forming a large archipelago. Players can choose between different types of possible actions: exploring the island and adding new hexes to existing ones; movement of ships; work in mines - gold mining; construction of fortresses or markets; exploration of ancient ruins; participation in trade. In addition, every player can become a pirate. From this moment on, other players will be forced to pay tribute in order to be able to perform some action on the part of the archipelago under your control. On his turn, the player can perform any of the listed actions, but at the same time he must discard the card corresponding to the action and a few more cards. A tribute to the pirate consists in a greater number of actions performed and, accordingly, in a greater number of discarded cards. But the player may not submit, but in this case he will need to build a fort in order to be able to survive. End of the game The game is over when the tenth colonist arrives on the island. The winner is determined by calculating the cost of the resources.
