Description
The NARINE fermented milk product is a therapeutic, prophylactic and dietary food for children and adults based on a monoculture of lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus MDC 9602 (MDC - Microbial Depository Center).
Lactobacillus “NARINE” was isolated in 1964, carefully studied and characterized at the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR by a group of scientists led by Dr. prof. L.A. Erzinkyan and deposited in the former Republican Center. Microbial Depository of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia (1993).
Serial production of the drug “NARINE” (paste-like, lyophilized) was launched at the Scientific and Practical Center “Armbiotechnology” of NAS RA in 2014 in accordance with the Armenian standard AST 173-2015.
The NARINE fermented milk product is made from natural pasteurized cow's skim milk by fermentation with Lactobacillus acidophilus MDC 9602. The product has a delicate fermented milk taste and aroma; milky color; its main property is expressed by viscosity.
Due to its unique biological formula, NARINE is widely used as a probiotic. The product has been widely recognized as a therapeutic and prophylactic agent for various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. It plays a significant role in the normalization of intestinal microflora in case of dysbiosis of various origins and its consequences, including secondary immunodeficiencies and chronic fatigue syndrome. It is a powerful antioxidant that removes radionuclides, toxins and various pathological substances from the human body.
Lactic acid bacteria “NARINE” are resistant to a number of antibiotics and chemotherapeutic drugs; possess high antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms (pathogenic pathogens of dysentery, intestinal fever, salmonolysis, pathogenic Escherichia coli, streptococci, staphylococci, Proteus); restore the normal normal intestinal microflora, as well as its motor function; contribute to the synthesis of vitamins of groups B, C, E, P, as well as folic acid and biotin in the body.
The NARINE fermented milk product is recommended to be used by adults (up to 200 g per day) and children from six months old as an additional nutrition to the main diet.
“NARINE” is sold in large pharmacy chains. Under the terms of the “Law on Public Procurement of Armenia”, the product is delivered to a number of kindergartens and maternity hospitals, as well as to institutions of the NAS RA system.
The dry product “NARINE” is a live lyophilized culture of acidophilic lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus MDC 9602. It can be used as a source for the preparation of starter cultures, as well as an independent therapeutic and prophylactic agent in the form of powders, gelatin capsules in combination with other medicines .
Currently, NPP “Armbiotechnology” of NAS RA produces the original “Narine”, fruit “Narine”, fruit drinks “Narine” and powder “Narine”.
