Organizzazione e svolgimento di mostre congiunte di porcellana "Gzhel"

Gzhel - one of the oldest ceramic crafts in Russia, and has nearly 700 years. The first mention of Gzhel refers to the XIV century. Then, near Moscow, in Gzhel parish, unique clays were discovered, and the production of the first dishes began. Fishing, starting with ordinary pottery, gradually gaining mastery and artistic uniqueness. From the middle of the XVIII century gzhel masters mastered the technique of majolica, which allows to make utensils with a multicolor painting on white enamel. Later, discovering deposits of new types of clay, they learned how to make semi-faience and porcelain. The artists-masters of the traditional Gzhel painting were valued so highly that they were never serfs.
