Honor Above All Bang! The Samurai Sword is the most interesting and atmospheric oriental interpretation of the famous card board shooter Bang! from the same authors and publishers. Here you will be fully immersed in the world of medieval Japan, where valiant samurai will confront the cunning ninja, where the dishonorable ronin will beat the shogun in the back, and the players will throw cards on the table with excitement, shouting "wakizashi!" It should be noted that Bang! The samurai sword is not just an independent game that does not depend on the original. Despite the fact that the main mechanics were copied in it, a new key difference was added in the Japanese interpretation - now the heroes do not die after the end of their lives, but lose their honor in favor of the winner. What this means for the players: · in this way the Japanese philosophy is implemented in the game - it is not so scary to die as to be dishonored, and it really helps to immerse yourself in the atmosphere; · It will no longer happen that the player who died before the others waits for the whole game to end, as it happens in the original Bang !, now after the defeat, health points are restored, and the player continues his fight, but having already lost 1 point of honor. Bang game rules! Samurai Sword Each player is randomly assigned a Role card and a Character card. Characters are shown to all players, they have different special abilities like restoring life, hitting further or stronger than normal, etc. Characters are represented by famous personalities from Japanese history and folklore: the famous ninja Ishikawa Goemon, who lived in the 16th century, the famous prince, diplomat and military leader Tokugawa Ieyasu, the mythical king Ushiwaka inhabiting the mountains and forests of Japan, etc. The roles are watched only by their owners, and they hide until the end of the game. Thus, the players are divided into several teams, but no one knows which of the opponents belongs to which team (as in the Mafia): · shogun and samurai; · 2 or 3 ninjas; · Lonely ronin. Now a brutal massacre begins. The players take turns drawing cards, leaving them in their hands or playing them. Among the playing cards can be: · actions (yellow) - take cards, restore life, defend against someone else's attack, take cards and opponents, etc.; · Weapons (red) - allow you to attack other characters (unlike the usual Bang !, they are not laid out in front of the character, but are discarded with each attack, while having a different effect); · Abilities (blue) - allow you to "pump" the character, giving him protection, additional attacks per turn, increasing distance, etc. Distance is one of the key points in the game. Depending on the type of weapon, players can strike at different distances - for example, only 1 (ie, the adjacent player to the left or right) for the bokken training stick or 5 for the daikyu long bow. The distance can be changed, for example, by defending with armor, then with a distance of 1 the neighboring player can no longer be reached. The damage inflicted by weapons is also different, it depends both on the weapon itself and on the additional equipment and properties of the character. You can remove 1 life or all 5 with one hit! As soon as the player's life ends, the opponent who “killed” him takes 1 honor token from the affected person. A player without life is considered drained of blood (cannot become the target of new attacks) until his next turn, then he will restore life, draw cards and again fight for his honor! Yes, and a little more Japan in the rules - if a player has run out of cards in his hand, he is also considered bled and cannot be attacked. After all, attacking an unarmed enemy is not a matter of honor. Who should play Bang! Samurai sword? This great, interesting and atmospheric game, designed for 3-7 players aged 8 years and older, will be very interesting: · lovers of the classic genre of board games "Mafia"; · As well as the genre of card board games; · Admirers of the culture and history of Japan; · Everyone who liked the first Bang! and its other variations; · Fans of fast, dynamic board games with unexpected turns; · Any fun company of friends and family; • colleagues to have a great time during the break; · Take the game on vacation and while away waiting for the flight.
