1935 can be considered the year of foundation of the enterprise. It was in 1935 in Tver that the Art Products Artel was created, which united a great number of lone handicraftsmen who made home objects from wood, bone and horns. The basis of the artel range was large decorative vases, caskets, glasses for pencils, sand sets for children, and children's toys.

In 1964, the factory was reorganized into the Kalinin Production Association of Arts and Crafts. The company has expanded significantly due to the organization of new workshops for the production of commercial products (construction business, glassblowing with the help of deaf droths).

Over time, the factory changed. To date, the enterprise enterprise remains the only enterprise in the country in this area, preserving its traditions and roots of Tver land.

The product range of the company has more than 2000 samples.

Tverskie suveniry LLC today produces more than two hundred items of products that have utilitarian-domestic use made of wood on a turning and turning-joinery basis with burning, carving and painting with polycolor and acrylic paints, followed by finishing with varnish and without it.

Today, the company can produce any wood products, including according to individual drawings or sketches of customers.

The share of creative manual labor of masters of unique and artistic products is more than 71%.

The company uses only hardwood from ecologically clean areas in its production. An artistic product from the moment of felling the forest to the time of making the final sample goes through 10 stages: felling, sawing into the block and beam, trimming, sawing into size, point, polishing, trimming (shaping), assembling, burning, painting. All technological operations are performed by highly skilled workers.

All products are certified, approved by the artistic council of Russia and referred to the products of folk arts and crafts.

The company is one of the founders of the Association "Folk arts and crafts of the Tver region" and is part of the Association "Folk arts and crafts of Russia".
