Limited Liability Company “Gzhel art painting plant” is located in the village of Gzhel, Ramensky district of the Moscow region on the picturesque bank of the Gzhelka river.

The main activity of the enterprise is the manual production of highly artistic porcelain products in the tradition of the Gzhel ceramic folk craft, its development and recreation.

LLC Gzhel Artistic Painting Plant produces more than 700 items of products including: tea, coffee, dinner sets and sets, individual tableware, interior items, sculpture, small plastic, tiles for facing fireplaces and stoves, lamps and much more.

The range of products every year is updated and expanded. Every year, 25-30 items of new highly artistic products are introduced at the enterprise.

Manufacturing technology products - traditional for porcelain. In the decoration technique is used underglaze painting with cobalt paint, which on some products is combined with the repainting of gold-containing paints.

Painting is done manually with quick strokes: “smear with shadows”, “quick smear” and painting “with one brush”. This is the main feature of the painting Gzhel products.

Ornament: floral, geometric, plane-volume.

Another distinctive feature of the painting of products at the enterprise is also the expressiveness of the landscapes, precisely written borders on wall plates, plaques and panels, and the combination of traditional Gzhel rose with “bleached chamomile” on painted items.

For connoisseurs and collectors of art of craft, artists decorate works with family monograms and family emblems, write portraits and landscapes, gift inscriptions with symbols and logos, creating harmonious works of painting and form in the traditional manner of fishing.

The application of logos, symbols, monograms, inscriptions on serial porcelain products is made on pre-orders individually for each customer.

Orders for the development of product forms according to sketches and customer's ideas are also being fulfilled.

Throughout the activities of the LLC Gzhel Artistic Paintings Plant, the exhibition activity has been conducted and is a regular participant of international and Russian exhibitions and competitions.

Most products are awarded with medals, prizes and diplomas for high quality and original design. Five product names have been assigned the mark “100 Best Products of Russia”.
