The history of the plant begins on December 10, 1940, the enterprise was created to provide residents of the region with consumer goods and processing of local raw materials - sea animal fur (seals, belka, seals, serki), which the coastal collective farms in the White Sea mined.

Currently, the plant produces about 30 items of garments (shirts, blankets, mattresses, bed linen), more than 200 models of fur hats, fur vests (male and female), fur slippers and booties, Nenets dolls, rugs.

The plant’s products have been awarded numerous diplomas of industry and regional exhibitions, including:

- Diploma of the Union of Expertise and Roslegprom for high consumer properties;

- the medal winner of the contest “Quality is evaluated by the buyer”.

All manufactured products have quality certificates.
