The St. Petersburg community of bone carving the White City (ALBUM URBEM) is an organization that unites businessmen engaged in the extraction of a mammoth's tusk and artists who have dedicated their lives to the art of bone carving.

The community workshop employs both young graduates and experienced carvers, dedicated to this kind of art for over 25 years, performing orders from the Churches of St. Petersburg, church hierarchs, famous businessmen and politicians. In particular, they made an altar guard and salaries for the icons of the Mother of God Vladimirskaya and the Holy Monastery for the Cathedral of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God in St. Petersburg.

Bone carving is the most ancient form of decorative art. Even at the dawn of its history, a person made not only needles, arrowheads, combs, scrapers and other necessary things from animal bones, but also jewelry, sacral objects.
