To impart strength to the clay pottery, all products pass two firing.

The unique properties of red clay allow pottery of Borisov ceramics to provide a "baking effect" or, as they say, "the effect of a Russian stove" when preparing dishes. The structure of red clay is arranged in such a way that, when roasting the clay mass, the crock does not pass through the glass phase and large pores remain inside it, which act as a heat pocket when cooking. Due to the thick porous walls of such dishes, which are heated very slowly, the food, as it were, languishes in the pot, acquiring a unique taste and aroma, while the useful properties of the products remain in it, and the fat can be kept at a minimum during cooking. The dishes of Borisov ceramics can be used in all types of modern furnaces, including microwave and electric, not only put on open fire.
