The history of the plant "RIF" originates in 1912 in the workshops of the Don water district, built to repair the vessels of the technical fleet, engaged in the construction of the North-Donetsk lock system.

Joint Stock Company "RIF" for many years is one of the leading enterprises of the Don to repair ships of various classes. Annually the plant repairs up to 100 vessels with a launch weight of up to 800 tons.

Today, RIF is part of the Rostov Port Group of Companies. Within the framework of investment programs of organizational and technical development of the enterprise from 2014, the plant started implementing shipbuilding projects.
