AMURSTAL

OJSC Amurmetal (Komsomolsk-on-Amur) is the only electric-metallurgical enterprise in the Far East of Russia for steel smelting, with subsequent conversion to long products and sheet products and further redistribution products. The company has a steelmaking capacity of 2.15 million tons of steel per year. JSC "Amurmetal" produces steel for the reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures, rolled angular, round, wire rod, wire, sheet and thick plate, bent profile, road metal barriers of barrier type, water and gas steel electric welded pipes, graded and slab billet. The raw material for steel production is scrap of ferrous metals.

OJSC Amurmetal was registered on February 25, 1997. The basis for the formation of a new enterprise was the new part of the Amurstal enterprise - the Far Eastern Pipe Metallurgical Plant (DPMZ). The structure of JSC Amurmetal included, at the first stage, the equipment of the former building complexes "Steel" and "Rent", a scrap preparation shop, several auxiliary shops, and later - a sheet rolling shop and a section of curved profiles. During its history the enterprise has passed several stages of development, as a result of which a name and indisputable authority appeared.

Currently, the enterprise has the necessary equipment to support the operation of two production lines for the billet production: the EAF # 1 electric furnace - the ladle furnace # 1 - the multilayer continuous casting machine # 1; electric furnace number 2 - unit ladle furnace № 2 - slab caster 2.

The certificate of conformity of the factory Quality Management System with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2005 issued by the German certification company TUV CERT confirms the high quality and competitiveness of the products; certificate of recognition of river and sea registers; Certificates of conformity of the "Mosstroisertification" system; positive conclusion of the test results of the Norwegian company MOLAB AS, commissioned by AKKER KVAERNERN TECHNOLOGI, which uses valves in the construction of the oil platform for the Sakhalin-2 project. Rebar JSC "Amurmetal" is supplied in accordance with the American standard ASTM.
