The Federal State Enterprise "Kursk Biofactory-Firm" BIOK "is one of the leading manufacturers in the Russian Federation of tools for the diagnosis and prevention of infectious animal diseases. Being among the strategically important enterprises, the Kursk Biofactory is involved in the Federal Target Programs: the National Biosafety Program and the program aimed at combating diseases of a social nature. Within the framework of these projects, large-scale measures for the reconstruction and modernization of production are carried out at the biofactory.

The FC Kursk Biofactory works in accordance with international standards and requirements. In 2009, the production of allergodiagnostics is certified in accordance with GOST R 52249-2009 (GMP).

The enterprise has an integrated management system, which includes:

- Environmental management system (ISO ISO 14000-2004),

At present, the production of the enterprise is oriented in three directions:

- manufacturing of immunobiological preparations and chemical-pharmaceutical products for veterinary medicine;

- manufacture of infusion solutions for medical needs;

- production of concentrates and semi-finished products based on natural plant components, exclusive balsams and vodkas, and non-alcoholic products.
