Steam processing is a special technology to improve the quality characteristics of rice. Untreated rice is soaked in water, and then treated with hot steam under pressure. Steamed rice has its advantages: when steaming up to 80% of vitamins and minerals contained in the shell, passes into the grain of rice, and the grains themselves become less brittle. After cooking steamed rice grains never stick together, this rice remains just as tasty and crumbly even after reheating the dish.
