Fiberglass fittings of a periodic profile are used:

- in light arch-type building structures.
The specialists of Biysk Fiberglass Plant have developed a structure of fiberglass rods of a periodic profile that are not inferior in their characteristics (for example, in terms of design stress, adhesion to concrete), and in many respects surpass the characteristics of reinforcing steel rods. The world experience of using fiberglass rods as a reinforcing element shows that their use is especially effective when creating structures that use the specific properties of glass plastics that favorably distinguish them from steel.
