What's in the box? · Playing field with a world map; · 216 game cards of 6 nations; · 33 wooden army tokens; · 22 wooden tokens of the fleet; 4 Victory Point Tokens · 2 supply tokens; · Round token; · Rules of the game. World War II on the table This board game is a rather ambitious attempt by the developers not only to refuse to play out some specific theaters of war, but to give the opportunity to conduct battles around the world. But the game is also interesting for its dynamism and strategy - it is extremely necessary to think and plan, monitor the supply of your troops and discuss joint actions with your allies. Everything is like in a real war. Players will have the opportunity to speak for the sides of the great war, represented in World War II Generals by 6 countries: · Great Britain; · Germany; · Italy; · THE USSR; · USA; · Japan. As in World War II, countries are united in alliances. Interestingly, they have a different balance of land and sea armies according to historical accuracy. For example, the USSR is strong here, first of all, by ground armies, and Japan and Great Britain by the navy. The second special moment of this game is that all 6 powers will always participate in it, regardless of the number of players. Indeed, if 4 players have gathered, this does not mean that some 2 of its main participants can be thrown out of the world conflict. Therefore, some of the players will play, for example, for the United States and Great Britain. How to play Generals World War II? Participants in hostilities will put their armies and fleets on the playing field, while in a war it is extremely important to preserve supply routes, because if the enemy breaks them apart, the armies will be surrounded and lost. The fleet is similarly supported by allied forces stationed in adjacent land squares. Each player's turn is divided into the following phases: 1. Playing a card. All kinds of actions - creating an army or a fleet (placing them on the map), attack, various events, economic blockades, etc. 2. Supply. A check is carried out whether all supply lines are lined up. 3. Victory points. The player receives them for each strategic centers (marked with asterisks) on which his troops are located. 4. Discarding cards. The player takes 10 cards from the deck of his country, chooses 3, which he discards, and leaves 7 in his hand. 5. Drawing cards. If a player has less than 7 cards in his hand, he draws them from his deck. Either way, the players will be divided into 2 teams: the allies and the axis. At the edge of the field there is a victory point counter for each alliance. The game lasts for 20 rounds, and those players whose alliance gains the most victory points will win. Who will like World War II Generals? The game is based on the tactical strategy mechanics Risk, which was released in 1957. Here is a similar logic of dividing the world map into areas in which players place their troops, but the Generals of World War II, of course, have much more options! The game is designed for 2-6 participants from the age of 12 due to the need to plan, although many children play it fully already at the age of 9-10. The average game length is 90-120 minutes, but the rules imply a shorter version as well. Who will be interested in the game: · fans of tabletop wargames; · Those who like to think and plan at the board; · Lovers of the game Risk and based on it; · Admirers of military subjects and in particular - the Second World War; · A group of friends - fans of different board games.
