La description
What's in the box? 40 cards Started; 40 cards of Fancy; 40 Parish cards; 25 treasure cards; 25 cards of dead sorcerers; 8 Crazy Magic cards; 8 hero boards; 7 tokens of unfinished sorcerers; 6 tokens for counting life; 4 game hexagonal cubes; 2 stands; 1 Skullfire Mountain; Rules. Casting unique spells! So, in the center of the table we put the Skullfire Mountain, sort the cards into decks, choose a sorcerer for ourselves and take his tablet. We get the first set of cards and start the game. The purpose of this board is simple - to kill all the other mages. Casting spells on them, of course. Actually, the creation of completely different spells is the main feature of the game! Players will have three types of cards at their disposal: Ringleaders, Fancy and Parishes. They make up completely different spells at the choice of the player, in one of the following variations without repeating cards of the same type: Ringleader; Coming; A twist; Ringleader + Parish; Instigator + Fuss; Turnover + Parish; Cheerleader + Turnover + Parish. Each sorcerer has hit points (up to 25), which end as attacks that pierce his defense are received. When health is over, the magician dies. The last survivor wins. By the way, the sorcerer can hit himself with his spell. And if he killed himself, but destroyed the last opponents, he is still considered the winner. And what does the treasure have to do with it? Treasure is by no means the goal of the game, as one might think. Treasures are manats that help sorcerers to be stronger, faster, stronger, smarter. You can get them during the action of some spells. Why is all this so interesting? The fact is that the players have at their disposal a huge arsenal of actions that intersect with each other: the already indicated combinations of unique spells; each of these combinations also carries additional effects: damage, darkness, waste, kumar, grass; in addition to this, other additional cards can be added to spells; before the action, spell cards are laid face-down on the table, none of the magicians knows what the opponents have prepared for him and how to act; the current level of health brings confusion - the most powerful magician can suddenly become the target of an unexpected spell; an additional surprise and subject of miscalculation is the treasure effect. Well, is there something really creepy? Definitely yes. You don't have to read some of the cards that suggest “draining 3 liters of blood” from the victim, but just look at the illustrations of the game, especially some of the Parish cards. They colorfully demonstrate the effect of the spell on the victim ... Who is suitable for Epic battles of battle mages? Epic skirmishes are a kind of hard version of the famous card shooter Bang. But here everything is tougher: the rules are written in harsh slang, some illustrations can lead to a stupor and horror, the very mechanics of the game implies an aggressive removal of each other, a minimum of alliance and the absence of any loyalty and mercy. First of all, for these reasons, the age limit is from 16 years. We recommend that you pay attention to this game for experienced players who appreciate the genre of card board games and know how to separate the game from reality.
