"Cartagena" is a board game where the participants will have the opportunity to repeat the daring escape, which the prisoners of this impregnable fortress were able to make for the first time in 1672. Here, players try on the role of pirates trapped in the dungeons of Cartagena. With all your courage and caution, you will definitely be able to achieve your goal. The course of the game First, make up the playing field from separate segments. This can be done in absolutely any order. Due to the fact that each section of the field is two-way, in total you have more than a thousand different options for combinations of routes. This means that you will never get tired of playing Cartagena. Each participant receives at his disposal six game cards and six pirate tokens. The rest of the cards are shuffled and form a common deck, which is placed face down in the center of the table. Participants walk in turn, clockwise. On his turn, a player can perform one of two actions up to three times: move forward; take a card. The sequence of actions can be any. To move forward, you need to play a card. Each card depicts items of pirate life. Identical ones are also marked on the playing field. You move forward to a cell of the field with an image identical to the one on one of your cards. The very same cards are discarded. To continue moving forward, you must always have cards in your hand, which forces you to carefully combine the sequence of actions - go forward or draw a card. The game ends when one of the players manages to move all of his pirates to the boat. He becomes the winner.
