Pommes fraîches Idared

Size: large to medium. A variable shape , from spherical-flat to conical-spherical, often with a noticeable protrusion in the region of the peduncle and a smooth surface.

The skin is medium hard, slightly oily, glossy, yellow-green, covered with a weak plum. The color of the coating is red, sometimes with darker stripes, very attractive and occupies 45-80% of the surface of the fruit.

Pulp: white-cream color, medium strength, thin, crunchy, juicy, with a sweet and sour taste, well-balanced, very pleasant and with a good aroma.

Harvest time: in the second decade of September. Productivity: 25-32 t / ha. The fruits are resistant to handling and transportation. Storage: 200-220 days. Usage: November - May, fresh and suitable for industrialization.
