Description
Cellulose fiber is added to the finished mixture of crushed-mastic asphalt to prevent the flow of the binding component - bitumen. The stabilizing additive Ecollose CM-A 1/6, two-thirds high-quality cellulose, perfectly copes with this task. In addition, the granules of Ecollose CM-A 1/6 are convenient for transportation and storage. With mixing, the cellulose fibers do not stick together, the granules dissolve completely.

The basis of crushed stone-mastic asphalt is several different fractions of crushed stone, to which add sand, mineral powder and bitumen. Due to the significant amount of bitumen binder, the use of a stabilizing additive (most often cellulose fibers) is necessary to prevent the flow of bitumen. Stabilizing additive Ecollose CM-A 1/6 copes with this task no worse than foreign analogues.
