Railway carriage and the price and conditions best suited for cases when the delivery time is not running out, and the load is sufficiently large.

Recently we were approached by a client who needed to transport a crane of 60 tons, and railway carriage it just perfect, since one train can accommodate up to 70 tons of cargo.

Which is beneficial to carry by train? Oil, building materials, coal, planks, logs – in short, large quantities of goods over long distances. Of course, if the timing is not critical.

For comparison, our specialists counted for the client to send Georgian wine in Turkmenistan. At railway carriage it turned out that each car accommodates up to 50 tons of wine. The cost of one car at that time amounted to 8 thousand dollars. At that time, as the car can carry 20 tons of wine and the cost of transportation at that time was 5 thousand dollars. The client had quite a large party, which would require more than two machines, but it was placed in one wagon, and the price difference in this case was more than 2 thousand dollars.

Railway transport is very convenient also because some goods can be transported in a special wagon (in tank wagons, buckets). Besides, trains are not terrible weather conditions – the cargo is not spoiled either summer or winter, will not fall in a storm or icy conditions.

However, there is a "but": the train is tied to the schedule. And again, if the cargo can be delivered directly to the customer's door, in the case of rail transportation it is necessary to pay separately for loading and unloading and deliver the goods to the end point already in the car.
