The equipment RPD-4S is designed to study the geological environment in the interwell space (RWP method), located between two wells - radiating and receiving. The purpose of studying the interwell space is to solve problems of geological content, first of all - the definition of low-resistance productive inclusions in a relatively high-resistance containing environment. MACHINE COMPOSITION The basis of the equipment consists of two controlled downhole tools: radiating and receiving, which generate and receive a signal at sounding frequencies. The operation of the complex is carried out under the control of the operator who sets the sounding parameters on the control laptop located in the logging station. Communication between the transmitting and receiving well is organized by VHF radio channel Each projectile is equipped with an electric antenna (electric dipole) with a plumb line. To eliminate the “antenna effect”, an optoelectrode decoupling unit is used in each logging projectile — both in the emitter and in the receiver, and to power the projectiles, + 12V batteries for the emitter and + 9V for the receiver are used. The receiver is implemented in a heterodyne scheme with two quadrature channels. The IF signals are digitized using 16-bit ADCs under the control of a microcontroller, which transmits the digitized signals in real-time via the logging cable to the surface. For signal transmission, a differential RS485 interface with intermediate optocoupler is used. Signal processing is performed in the software on the control laptop. Processing includes digital narrowband filtering using multipoint digital filters with subsequent phase-synchronous detection, which allows to drastically reduce the level of interference.
