Representatives of Global Rus Trade took part in the "Made in Ugra" exhibition-forum of commodity producers
On December 10, 2021, the exhibition-forum of commodity producers of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra "Made in Ugra" was opened. Welcoming remarks were made by the Governor of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra Natalya Komarova, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Slovakia Sergey Stupar, UNIDO Goodwill Ambassador Veronika Peshkova, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global Rus Trade Anna Nesterova and others. The moderator was the editor-in-chief of Expert-Ural magazine Artem Kovalenko.

Anna Nesterova in her speech noted the increasing relevance for manufacturers of electronic sales channels since the beginning of the pandemic. For some businesses, e-commerce has become the only distribution channel for their products. In October this year, within the framework of the Eurasian Women's Forum, Global Rus Trade signed an agreement with the Ugra Entrepreneurship Support Fund "My Business" on cooperation in promoting small and medium-sized enterprises of Ugra in foreign markets using the Russian export marketplace Anna Nesterova expressed hope for fruitful cooperation within the framework of this agreement.

Executive Director of Global Rus Trade Irina Ipatova spoke at the next session dedicated to international cooperation and export, incl. online product export. The speaker emphasized that e-commerce is the easiest and fastest way to start selling. The goal of the marketplace is to promote and increase sales of goods and services of Russian manufacturers within the country and abroad. Today, over 10 thousand companies work at the site. The site is translated into 11 languages and promoted in international search engines.

The marketplace catalog contains all categories of goods and services, including consumer and industrial goods, services to support foreign economic activity. The site's clients have access to retail and small-scale wholesale online purchases, as well as search for B2B partners. In 2021, orders were received from users in over 100 countries around the world. Now the main buyers on the site are the solvent population of North America (USA and Canada), EU and Arab countries. Also, since 2018, on the basis of the marketplace, a project of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has been implemented to promote products of folk art crafts in the domestic and foreign markets.
