Global Rus Trade presents e-commerce opportunities for women exporters

    On September 21, the international session "Women's Cooperation in International Trade" was held on the margins of the Eurasian Women's Forum. The moderator was the editor-in-chief of the nationwide medical television channel Doctor, the presenter of the Rossiya24 channel, Evelina Zakamskaya.

    In the session, the main manager of the Export-Import Bank of India, Sunita Sindwani, the head of the program of the International Trade Center for Promotion of Women in Trade, Vanessa Erogbogbo, the Managing Director for External Relations and Communications of JSC Russian Export Center Vera Podguzova, the President of the Russian Association franchising Agnes Osipova, executive director of Global Rus Trade Irina Ipatova and others.

    Sunita Sindwani shared her experience of supporting women engaged in the production and export of handicrafts in India. Vanessa Erogbogbo told about the open platform SheTrades for establishing business contacts and cooperation between women entrepreneurs from different countries.

    Vera Podguzova introduced the products of the REC for potential and existing Russian exporters, also touched upon the issues of promoting the Made in Russia umbrella brand and the procedure for obtaining it. Agnes Osipova told about franchising as a kind of cooperation of women's business.

    Irina Ipatova in her speech presented the opportunities for e-commerce for women exporters. Now in each country, their electronic trading platforms are being created, as an infrastructure for promoting the export of national producers. Irina talked about the differences between marketplaces and what types of online promotion services they offer.

    The representative of Global Rus Trade, based on the experience of communication with women entrepreneurs from different spheres, gave practical advice on working in electronic trading platforms: placing high-quality photos, adding a clear description, filling out the characteristics of the product or service, etc. The more accurate and accurate the product card is filled, the higher the chances that it will be noticed in the catalog, which all users of the international site see.
