Anna Nesterova at the EEF told how to promote handicrafts on marketplaces
On September 4, Anna Nesterova, a member of the general council of Delovaya Rossiya, founder and chairman of the board of directors of the Global Rus Trade marketplace, took part in the Eastern Economic Forum as part of the session "High boots haute couture: how to connect high fashion and folk crafts."
In her speech, Anna Nesterova drew attention to the undeservedly low popularity of folk art products in Russia. She listed the tools that need to be used to correct the current trend. Among them, she highlights the digitalization of business processes, the representation of manufacturers on electronic platforms, modern methods of marketing promotion (SMM, SEO and targeting), as well as logistics and payment methods.
Anna Nesterova gave real examples of the implementation of this kind of support from the Global Rus Trade marketplace and emphasized the company's social mission aimed at supporting and developing SMEs. In this regard, recently, export orders for goods of folk arts and crafts have been implemented to Canada, Great Britain, Qatar and other countries.
The speaker emphasized the importance of the participation of government departments in support and development programs, which has a positive effect on the popularization of traditional goods and their manufacturers. Global Rus Trade implements joint projects with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Federation Council and the State Information System of Industry (GISP).
