The XXV Exhibition-Fair of Folk Art Crafts of Russia “Ladia. Winter's Tale 2018 was opened

December 19, within the framework of the Business Program of the XXV Exhibition-Fair of Folk Art Crafts of Russia “Ladya. Winter's Tale-2018 "was held focusing discussion" Folk artistic crafts and places of their traditional existence: modern challenges and prospects ”. The discussion was addressed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global Rus Trade, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Association for the Promotion of National Productions, Anna Nesterova, the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Folk Art Trades of Russia Gennady Drozhzhin, UN Goodwill Ambassador for Industrial Development Veronika Peshkova, the founder of Gzhel Porcelain Factory Andrei Reznikov and others. One of the main topics of discussion was the measures of state support to producers of goods of folk arts and crafts (NHP). Experts expressed their views on the development prospects of the industry. Among the most effective ways to preserve and promote NHP enterprises, participants in the event noted e-commerce, which already has a great influence on this area. Veronika Peshkova presented a UNIDO project in the field of folk arts and crafts, organized jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The speaker spoke about creative industries. Thus, enterprises and craftsmen of NHP are subject to the least risk of loss from the onset of the fourth industrial revolution due to the uniqueness of manual labor. Andrei Reznikov has designated a high level of anti-counterfeiting products, the images of which use the stylistic features of folk art crafts. According to the discussion participant, to reduce the number of such violations, it is necessary to develop mechanisms protection of images and brands NHP. Anna Nesterova noticed that the goods of folk crafts possess exclusive artistic quality, therefore they have a high export potential. The expert noted that in order to increase the share of foreign sales, it is important for manufacturers of the industry to be represented on the Internet. To this end, effectively apply to the national marketplace, which are aimed at promoting Russian companies.
