Global Rus Trade took part in RBC e-commerce conference

On October 10, in Moscow, the expert session “How to find a balance between offline and online commerce” was held in Moscow as part of the RBC “E-commerce market in Russia: new transformations” conference. The moderator was the managing partner of Watcom Group Alexey Knyazev. Anna Nesterova, founder and chairman of the board of directors of Global Rus Trade, Antonina Levashenko, head of the Russia-OECD Center, Anna Shkirina, CEO of GetBlogger, Anton Zhukovsky and director of sales for Tele2 Moscow Anton Zhukovsky and other experts took part in the session as speakers. Anton Zhukovsky shared his experience in online and offline platform synergies. He noted that at the moment, Tele2 is not so actively developing retail offline sales. Now the company is engaged in the retail integration of online solutions and such digital projects as a SIM terminal and subscriber ID. Anna Shkirina told how to find bloggers to promote companies through e-commerce channels among the target audience. Anna Nesterova in her speech focused on the problems faced by Russian suppliers in the B2B sector. She noted that the domestic manufacturer has a desire to enter foreign markets, while the exporter does not have confidence in electronic trading platforms, he is not ready to increase sales and invest in certification. To overcome the fears associated with exporting to foreign markets, it is necessary to conduct training programs for small and medium-sized businesses to improve digital literacy. Antonina Levashenko supported Anna Nesterova and stressed that the issue of confidence of exporters is central. In her opinion, the electronic platforms should be available to disclose the rules for using the platform on the site, as well as act as mediators in resolving conflicts.
