More than 500 organizations of crafts and individually working craftsmen from 60 regions of the Russian Federation, state educational institutions that train personnel of craftsmen and artists take part in the exhibition. Folk art crafts are an integral part of the national culture. Russia is one of the few countries that have managed to fully preserve the historical traditions and stylistic features of the development of folk arts and crafts.
