The “Lazaryan Dpratun” Center organizes intensive courses of the Armenian language and Armenian socio-cultural education, foreign language courses in accordance with the best international experience and standards.

The convenient location of “Lazaryan Dpratun” enables our students to quickly and easily find it. “LD” is located in the center of Yerevan next to the Shirak Hotel, next to the Parma Supermarket and next to the Opera and Ballet Theater.

The main objective of the center is to teach foreign students the Armenian language and get acquainted with the Armenian social culture. In this task, we give significant importance to the consistent development of the following areas:

• familiarization of interested foreign students with the richness and uniqueness of the Armenian language, which is a special branch of the Indo-European family

• the spread of the Armenian language among Armenians scattered around the world, giving the Armenian diaspora the opportunity to study Armenian in their homeland, in Armenia

• providing appropriate knowledge of the Armenian / Russian language to specialists and businessmen sent to Armenia.

Our teachers have an individual approach to each student, and comfortable classes and a friendly atmosphere make it possible to quickly adapt to a new country unfamiliar to them. Classes are taught by experienced teachers who have extensive experience in teaching Armenian / Russian as a foreign language.

When choosing teachers, their ability to motivate students in language learning was taken into account.
When teaching the Armenian language, special teaching aids developed by the linguists of our center are used. Rich in a variety of informational texts and accessible and interesting grammar exercises, books allow students to get acquainted with the rich language, history and culture of Armenia.
