ISO 22000: 2018 is an international standard applicable to all organizations involved in any aspect of the food chain who want to consistently achieve the goals of food safety through a system of controlled management - how objectives related to the internal needs of the organization and the goals of food safety. the implementation of which is required by the suppliers, users or the applicable domestic and international laws.

the Standard specifies requirements for the safety management system of food products of an organisation in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control threats to food safety to ensure the safety of products during their consumption.

ISO 22000: 2018 integrates the principles of HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control point) and Codex Alimentarius recommendations that are crucial to the effectiveness of the system of food safety management as the effective application of HACCP and the identification and assessment of hazards which may reasonably be expected in the food chain, creating the basis for the application of long-term sustainable security measures.
