What's in the box: Playing field; 25 cubes; Storage bag; Rules of the game. "Quixo" is based on the rules of the well-known board game "Tic-Tac-Toe", but it brings a lot of new things to them. Here you will no longer be able to rely only on luck, or to memorize several winning combinations. Winning requires tactical thinking and good visual presentation. To complicate matters, there is an option for 4 players, where they are divided into 2 teams, and must take into account even more nuances. Why are the cubes empty here? In fact, only on 2 faces there are images of those same X and 0, and the rest, indeed, remain empty. First, all cubes are laid out on the playing field with the free side up. Then the participants choose who they want to play for. Now you need to take 1 cube from the sides of the field, remove it, move it, the remaining horizontally or vertically, and return it to its place, well, with your symbol up. You cannot touch the already open symbols of the opponent. To win, you will need to collect 5 symbols at once in any of the directions: horizontal; vertical; diagonal. In the case when 4 people are playing, you need to pay additional attention to the dots next to the symbols. They must be directed at the participant who touched the cube, and even his teammate will then not be able to use them in the game. But you can turn to your partner on your turn, and then he will have the right to use it for his own purposes. If you manage to collect a row of 5, then the team wins immediately. You can learn quickly, but learn everything ... The rules of "Quixo" are quite simple, and after a couple of test games you even stop thinking about what you can do and how. However, there are a lot of options here, so you will always need to think over your movements in order not to miss an important move that can be decisive.
