The SRAC Group has been the leader in the Romanian certification and conformity assessment market for over 25 years and one of the important bodies in Central and Eastern Europe.

Initiated in 1993 by the Romanian Society for Quality Assurance, hence the acronym SRAC, and having strong roots in quality assurance processes in the energy / nuclear field, the organization quickly became one of the pillars of quality infrastructure in Romania.

As the market evolved with the spread and diversification of management systems in Romania, SRAC was a pioneer being the first body to adopt and launch on the Romanian market a series of new management systems and developed evaluation services in the fields regulated.

Starting with 2002, SRAC was accepted, following a rigorous evaluation, as Romania's representative in IQNet (an elite international group made up of certification bodies from all over the world, these being the main bodies in each member country). Thus, SRAC-certified organizations receive free of charge the prestigious internationally recognized IQNet certificate, on the basis of which an equivalent certificate can be obtained from any body in the Member States. Currently, the SRAC group has a wide range of accredited services that include numerous certifications of management systems, product certifications - having as final application of the CE marking, testing and inspection services, training, having at its disposal a team of approximately 300 auditors and experts from all branches of activity.

SRAC is also present on the international market through certifications in Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Republic of Moldova, Turkey and the UK.

With over 20,000 certificates issued over the years, SRAC has consolidated its leadership position and continues to be the choice of serious organizations for accredited certification and conformity assessment services.
